Reiki training
Training takes place in North West Leicestershire, in LE67. I do still offer distance learning by one to one live video call.
I teach Usui Reiki with traditional and modern techniques.
All my classes are relaxed and friendly and although I teach core Reiki I aim to make it a personalised experience so that you get the most out of it to help you enjoy and live the Reiki.

Reiki Level Two Training next Scheduled class

Reiki level 2 training class content is described below
Training is two days tuition and is suitable for those who have already been attuned to Level one either with me or with another Reiki Master Teacher and wishing to continue with their own healing or become a Practitioner. Level two brings a new dimension to the practise of Reiki with the use of sacred symbols enabling distance healing and strengthening the Reiki channel.

Crystals and Reiki Chakra Balance Workshop - February 2025
A one day workshop filled with practical exercises as well as theory. Learn how to use crystals alongside your Reiki for a synergistic and deeply relaxing and clarifying healing treatment. Reiki Through The Feet
Date to be confirmed for early 2025 and will be held in North Leicestershire
Also known as Reiki Through the Reflexes, this Reiki technique delivers a whole or part Reiki treatment by touch and hold of feet or hands.
There are many benefits to carrying out a treatment this way, for one you can be comfortably seated for some or all of the treatment and save your back. For your client or recipient they can enjoy safe gentle touch on their feet (some people LOVE their feet touched), and they can keep their socks on too!
Open to anyone trained and attuned to Reiki with a certificate (any level)
Reiki Level One
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course students will:
- Have had full Reiki attunements to Level One
- Know hand positions to be able to carry out a self-healing treatment
- Know hand positions to be able to carry out a Reiki treatment for another person
- Be able to adapt a treatment to circumstances and a person’s needs
- Have an understanding of indications for treatment with reiki
- Understand when reiki treatment is not appropriate
- Know and understand the 5 Reiki Principals
- Be aware of how to integrate Reiki into everyday life for self-support and living
- Recognise a diversity of applications for reiki
Reiki Level Two
After the two days I further support you to gain confidence with case studies and self-reflection. My students have all benefitted from carrying out their case studies and the feedback from them is that they feel more self-assured and far less nervous about conducting Reiki healing whether becoming professional or for their family and friends. The number of case studies is manageable and not excessive so please don’t worry.
Your Reiki Level Two course with me includes all the core reiki teachings and more.
Scheduled Reiki classes have limited numbers of 2 to 4 people to keep the format relaxed and friendly with plenty of opportunity and time for each person… to ask questions, query, experience, and learn. Reiki 2 classes include;

Pre-course requirements for Level Two Reiki
You will need to have completed Reiki Level One training (not necessarily with me) and have a good understanding of the basics of Reiki. If we don’t already know each other I will invite you to a free video ‘meet me’ so we can have an informal chat and be sure I am the right Reiki Master Teacher for you.
Reiki Level Three / Reiki Master Teacher
Also known as Shinpiden, or mystery teachings. Reiki Master Teacher the third and final level in Usui Reiki reveals 2 further symbols and prepares the practitioner to teach to others.
Becoming a Reiki Master is a big step and will raise your confidence and enhance your practice of reiki. You'll gain a deeper perspective and understanding of reiki and you will be able to teach Reiki if you wish.

Reiki Through The Feet

Open to anyone trained and attuned with a certificate in Reiki (from level one), no prior knowledge of Reflexology or reflexes required.

Tutor support after the Reiki levels training courses
As a Reiki Master I believe it’s my duty to support my students on an ongoing basis which does not simply expire after ‘x months’, and I am happy to do this. At any time after the training is completed as my student you may ask questions, talk through things that have come up in any situation that does or could relate to reiki that was either covered in the course or relates to that level of reiki. If you are qualified as a Reiki Master Teacher but need help setting up and navigating your first classes I can support you with this too.
Additional training is also available to develop your reiki and build confidence and enjoyment of reiki practice.
Reiki Circle
Reiki Circle is a small friendly Reiki gathering, led by Reiki Master Teacher Cheryl Colpman, located in Coalville, Leicestershire
My Reiki Circle is open to anyone attuned and trained in Usui Reiki, any level, you don't have to have been a student of mine. Each Reiki Circle I will guide you through Reiki techniques (new or traditional), Reiki practices, or discuss other healing insights that will enhance your understanding and practice of Reiki. We include healing circle and share and receive healing. Reiki Circle is for two hours for just £15 and has become established as a monthly feature. Please get in touch with me to reserve your place, payment is either cash on the day or by bank transfer please.
Location
In-person classes are held in North Leicestershire, I usually teach one to one with mutually convenient chosen dates, or in small classes. Please contact me or book a free 15 minute 'meet me' so we can have a chat and establish I'm the right Reiki Master Teacher for you.
Traditionally all teaching and learning would take place in person, but with the world changed new ways have unfolded and evolved. Since 2020 I have successfully taught Reiki via video meeting (with a return to teaching in person as well in 2023). Learning Reiki by live video includes distance attunements which work just as effectively as in-person attunements. However, this is followed up with attunements in-person allowing your certificate to be awarded.
Whether you choose to learn in person or by live video what remains the same is my passion for teaching and desire to empower and share Reiki with you.

Cheryl's Reiki Journey
When I was first introduced to reiki I had no idea that I could learn to practice it for myself. I was in real need of regular healings but the cost and distance were prohibitive (I had to drive about an hour for my treatments).
My practitioner was also a Reiki Master and he suggested I learn reiki for self-healing. I did my level one reiki and later level two. I self-treated with reiki for a few years which helped support my healing immensely. Then as I evolved and healed I trained to become a professional healing practitioner. Although I’ve completed a lot of training over the last 20+ years and I’m qualified to practice several healing modes, Reiki will always be my first love.
Free Tutorial - How to carry out Distance / Remote Reiki Healing For Any Reiki Level

Begin by making yourself comfortable ideally when and where you won’t be disturbed for a while. If you like you can play meditation music, light candles, or burn incense, or use your favourite essential oils.
In the usual way begin your reiki flow, for example with hands in gasshô and intending the reiki flows. [If you are level two, or above, trained and have the symbols you may want to evoke the Connection symbol now.]
Intend, visualise, or sense reiki coming in through the Crown chakra and coming into the Heart centre
Feel yourself filling up with reiki from the Heart centre.
If you enjoy using hand positions you could send the reiki from your Heart down your arms into your hands and then place them as you give yourself a reiki treatment
When you feel topped up with reiki begin to allow (intend / visualise) the reiki filling your energy field, allow it to glow with reiki
If you like to use your hands you could place them comfortably on your lap and allow the reiki to flow from them… [This could be a good time to bring in the symbols for Focus and Harmony]
From here send (visualise / intend) the reiki expanding and filling the room you’re in, then the building, and the street, your community or town, the shire, country and the whole of the UK.
To give reiki to a ‘situation’ bring it to mind (without dwelling on it, letting go of worry) and intend that the reiki is healing this situation
Continue to glow the reiki out intending that it reaches and is offered to all living things (people, animals, plants, ecosystems, microbes…)
Allow this to expand to encompass the whole planet, all of Mother Earth… (and beyond if you wish into the atmosphere, solar system…)
Remember to let go of any particular outcome of the healing; trusting that a higher intelligence and reiki will work for the highest good
Sit with this for a while for as long as you wish seeing the ‘whole’ glowing with reiki pure love and light
When you’re ready to finish gently place your hands back into gasshô and feel the gratitude for the reiki, gently bringing yourself back into the present
There are other methods and you can vary it to find the way you enjoy most or find easy. The most important aspect is working with reiki as pure love and light and letting go of personal desires or expectations.
